Parry Bay. Rod fishing was tried at the mouth of the river flowing from the large lake Nauyaat just 250 m upstream. Numerous fairly large lake trouts were caught in the brackish waters of the bay, a surprise as this species is mostly found in freshwater. Glen [Glenn] Warner and Father Louis Menez O.M.I.

Arrivee Cap Parry. Arrival at the Cape Parry hamlet where our research vessel M.V. Salvelinus is hauled out on the beach. In the distance, Pentecostal mission boat Tilirak which has wintered frozen in the bay. Transportation from the landing strip to the hamlet was provided by PIN-MAIN DEW Line staff. June 1964
